The elliptical is the perfect tool to tighten up every bit of your backside. The calves, the hamstrings and, of course, the tush, are sure to be on fire with this endurance based circuit workout. Not only will you look great from behind but you’ll torch calories by using resistance and speed.
The Backside Burner will work at moderate SPMs (Strides Per Minute) and focus more on utilizing resistance and incline to increase intensity.
When striding forward, you should focus on pushing through the heel to begin shifting the work to the backside. Each round will last ten minutes and slowly ramp up in intensity over 6 minutes. Then, you will finish the round with 2 minutes of recovery and 2 minutes of reverse striding motion.
If you are short on time, simply take away 1 or 2 rounds to meet your time constraints.
