Halloween has arrived and with it comes more candy than anyone could need. So, why not share the love?! Operation Gratitude is once again putting together Halloween Candy for Heroes, and we’re all about it. It’s a program that helps trick-or-treaters donate Halloween candy to deployed troops and first responders.
Operation Gratitude is an organization that regularly sends care packages to veterans, first responders, new recruits, wounded heroes, their care givers, and to individually named U.S. service members deployed overseas—plus their families waiting at home. Since their inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude has sent over 1 million care packages!
We’re proud of them, and happy to take part. So once you’ve enjoyed some candy and maybe stashed a few items away for later, gather up your excess and send them off. Your local Anytime Fitness may be organizing a collection, otherwise you can send them on your own! Read below for the simple steps.
