Recipe: Hazelnut ‘Brocha’ Protein Shake

Go ahead and ask any bro – it’s hard to find a nutritious smoothie that tastes good, and also has that extra dose of manliness.

Most homemade protein smoothies can tally up the carbs quickly once you add the strawberries, banana, half a cup of mango, and all the other ingredients. Then, before you know it, your smoothie is overloaded with carbs – which is okay if you need them for recovery, but if you’re looking for just the protein, we have the perfect shake for you!

I present the Hazelnut Brocha! A rich, chocolaty shake of deliciousness with only 5g of fat, 10g of carbs, and 51g of protein! Be a man and enjoy!

Brotein Shake - Hazelnut Brocha

This protein shake is a great low-carb alternative to a fruit smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops – Dymatize ISO Gourmet Chocolate
  • 1 Tbsp Hazelnut coffee creamer
  • 1 Cup unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 1/2 cup ice
  • Optional: 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder

Directions

Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Nutritional Facts (1 smoothie): 5g Fat | 10g Carbs (3g Dietary Fiber, 6g Sugar), 51g Protein
