Fitness should be fun! And a part of our regular routine. Get your entire family moving with this 15-Day Family Fitness Challenge, where the plain and simple goal is to do something active together for at least 15 minutes, 15 days straight.
All you have to do is set your mind to start, gather your “home team,” and then print out the challenge PDF so you can fill out your own calendar. Then hang it somewhere central in your home, like on the fridge, to track your progress. (And share the action with us using #AFFitFam!)
Don’t take this too seriously—it’s about putting phones down, connecting with each other, and recognizing exercise in surprising places. We have all sorts of ideas if you want help. The interactive Web plan recommends ways to get moving indoors, take your action outside, or make exercising even more fun with challenges!
Make sure to set a family-friendly reward in advance, so you have some added incentive to stick to this challenge. And if you can layer a nutrition goal in there (Try a new vegetable each day, or one at every meal? Skip pop?), even better! Just make sure fun is a priority. It’s the main reason fitness sticks!
