Don’t Just Sit There! Do This Low Impact Full Body Workout

Welcome to January, the month where your health slate gets wiped clean and many of us resolve to taking another shot at really making our health a priority for reals this time. Whether it’s been awhile since you’ve stepped foot in your club or it’s your very first time crossing the gym threshold, it can be intimidating and anxiety-inducing. But we have a workout for you that’ll help you get back in shape.

Full Body Strength Workout

This workout can be done every other day or so 2-3 times a week. Once you’re feeling confident, feel free to explore more!

Equipment: Dumbbells and a mat.

Description: There are 3 rounds below that each focus on a different area of the body; upper, lower, and your core. Your repetition goal is to do each exercise 12-15 times. If any of the exercises feel to strenuous with the dumbbells, simply continue to exercise without the weights and then pick them up when you’re ready!

Warm-Up

  • 10 minutes – Your choice of cardio machine

Round 1 – Upper Body

Round 2 – Lower Body

Round 3 – Core
