Post-Workout Recipe: Mud Protein Shake

Did you know that all-natural mud smoothies are a great source of carbohydrates and protein? All you need is some organic dirt, free-range worms, and water, and you’ll have the perfect post-workout snack!

APRIL FOOLS.

You didn’t really think that we were suggesting actual mud, right?Wink Not a good idea. Unless, of course, you’re a wild hog or have some form of pica.

Today’s real recipe is one of my all-time favorites. It actually tastes exactly like a chocolate milkshake, but is made with frozen fruit, protein powder, and extra cocoa powder.

To get that extra-chocolatey taste, I use strawberries and bananas, because they don’t have an overwhelming taste like some other fruits such as mango or pineapple. These fruit, together with chocolate protein powder, and extra cocoa powder, you’ll have a silky-smooth, delicious smoothie that could easily be confused with a chocolate milk shake!
