Bob Johnson joined the Anytime Fitness club in Greensburg, PA in November of 2010 after learning that his wife’s cancer, which had been in remission, had returned. At the time, Bob weighed 300 pounds.
“Rhonda’s (Bob’s wife) doctor told us that one of the most important things you can do to beat cancer is to eat healthy foods and to exercise,” Bob says. “Rhonda said she wanted to join a gym and she asked me to join with her. I figured if she was tough enough to handle chemotherapy and radiation, then the least I could do was to get off my butt and exercise.”
In addition to losing more than 100 pounds, since joining Anytime Fitness Bob has increased his strength, improved his balance, lowered his cholesterol and cured his sleep apnea.
